Terms of service

The rules of the road, kept short.

Updated as of May 9, 2026.

By using DevMesh you agree to these terms. They are not subtle, not adversarial, and not negotiable on a per-account basis. If you don't agree with them, don't use the platform.

Who we are

DevMesh is operated by Redomic Labs Private Limited, registered in India. References to “we”, “us”, or “the platform” mean Redomic Labs and the DevMesh service it operates.

Your account

  • You must be 16 or older to register.
  • One account per person. Real name, real email, real you.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. Keep your password and verification email safe.
  • If you suspect compromise, email [email protected] and we will lock the account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Cheat. Submitting work you didn't do, sharing answers, scripting attempts, or proxying another person's submissions through your account.
  • Scrape the platform or its API beyond what an ordinary visitor reasonably retrieves.
  • Reverse-engineer the budget proxy, the scoring pipeline, or the sandbox runtime.
  • Run automation that creates accounts, attempts, or submissions at scale.
  • Upload code that contains malware, illegal content, or material you don't have rights to.
  • Use the platform to harass, defame, or surveil another person.

Violations end your account. In serious cases we report to law enforcement and to recruiters who have already engaged with you.

Cheating policy

Scores and badges are public artefacts other people make hiring decisions on. We treat cheating as fraud, not as a quirk.

  • Confirmed cheating revokes the affected scores, badges, and any leaderboard placements that flowed from them.
  • Repeat or scaled cheating ends the account and all submissions on it. Recruiters who unlocked your profile are notified.
  • Detection signals come from submission telemetry, evaluator agents, and cohort comparison. We don't share specifics that would help anyone evade detection.
  • If you think we got it wrong, email [email protected] within 14 days and we will review.

Intellectual property

  • Your code stays yours. You own everything you write inside a challenge attempt.
  • You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display, and evaluate your submissions to operate the platform: scoring, showing your attempt history on your profile, and surfacing it to recruiters when you opt in.
  • We do not train models on your submissions without explicit, separate consent.
  • Challenge briefs, rubrics, the extension, and the platform UI are ours. Don't republish them.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Pro is $49/month or the equivalent in your local currency, charged on the day you subscribe and on each monthly anniversary.
  • You can cancel any time from your Pro page. You stay Pro until the end of the current period; we don't auto-charge again.
  • Refunds: within 7 days of your first charge, on request, no questions asked. After that, cancel and finish the month you paid for.
  • We may adjust Pro pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers keep their current rate for the remainder of the period.
  • Failed payments suspend Pro features after a 7-day grace period; the account drops back to free tier until billing is restored.

Recruiter visibility and outreach

  • Recruiter visibility is opt-in. Toggle it from settings.
  • When on, verified recruiters can see your public profile, summary stats, and any badges you've earned. Your code is only shared if you enrol in a company-sponsored challenge or accept a take-home.
  • You can mute or block specific organisations from the same settings page.

Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time from settings. Data handling follows the privacy policy.
  • We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
  • On termination, your subscription stops at the end of the current period; we do not refund unused time on a terminated account that violated the rules.

Disclaimers and liability

DevMesh is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it accurate, fast, and available, but we don't warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Scores and badges are signals, not guarantees of employment outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that can't be resolved by good-faith email goes to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Changes to these terms

When we make material changes we update the date at the top of this page and email account holders. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept them.
